A remote workshop tool that helps teams work out what they are for, what they value and what those words should change in practice.

The opportunity

A good workshop should leave more than a board full of sticky notes.

Purpose and values workshops can be excellent in the room and oddly weightless afterwards. They rely on the facilitator, the energy of the session and artefacts that are rarely opened again.

I built Alignment Lab with the Training and Development team to turn the method into a repeatable digital experience. People reflect alone before contributing to the group, which gives quieter thinking some room and stops the loudest voice becoming the team’s answer.

Facilitators and participants get different views because they are doing different jobs. The facilitator holds pace and context. The participant gets a clear prompt, enough space to think and a visible route into the shared work.

From workshop to permanent offer

Training and Development did not just support it. They kept it.

Alignment Lab was championed by the Training and Development department and is now a permanent offering on the company learning and development platform.

That matters because the opportunity was never simply to make one workshop better. It was to turn a facilitation method into something teams could return to without rebuilding the experience each time.
